Its a massive pain, I have a spare drive for information and it is this drive which clicks off from Ultra mode 5 to the old PIO which slows everything down. I have to keep uninstalling the IDE to get it to work again. But after a day or so depending on what I am doing it clicks over. I dont have much on this drive just some music that I use with Sonicstage 2 at the moment nothing else so its confusing why. I have heard its to do with bad clusters so ran a check disk over this too, but its still happening. Very very frustrating - no updates on vaio-link for this either. Anyone got any ideas at all?
