Mickey Mouse Operation

What is it with this site? Trying to find any **** information is way too hard...... jeez is this an amature setup or what? no search and no support (readily accessible). You can stick your life style <profanity removed by moderator> up your <profanity removed by moderator>.

I need 6.0 series nvidia drivers for my pcg-grt716s, the standard UDA (61.77) from nvidia don't actualy install and I need those to debugg my directX applications with PIX. The only driver I can find is on some far flung, vaguely related site not accessible from here...... WHY THE **** IS THAT? what kind of crap service is this?

I bought this laptop with some hope of future compatibility in mind and the driver support is pissing me off (had you noticed?). I understand the business mentality behind this but being 6 months behind is just not acceptible for a games programer like myself especialy when I have demonstrations to do.

So sort it out 'cause I can't lug my quadro based desktop arround with me and if I did what would be the point of buying the laptop I'm typing on right now?

Sing it brother. I think basically if you're into games don't bother with Sony. At least, that's the impression Sony have given me.

I hear you loud and clear too, and I do feel let down by the lack of search and decent navigation.

I think Sony should be more careful about accessability.

Yeah and I'm curious to know why they couldn't use the preinstalled search. My £5 a month package could run it just fine. Shame on them for using a free forum program and not even paying to add a search function for well over 6 months.

Totally agree, it's lame.
Apparently they're using some sort of Java service to search the threads, which will probably use more resource on their server than if they had gone the PHP5 route with some clever CMS design and programming.

I never heard of Java being used for a search engine......at least not for a long time.

It's a genre of Java Server Page.

the lack of a search is pretty carp, there's 22474 post as of now; indexing 100x times that would be trivial.
Sony, you're plain lazy. Get a grip.
