Laptop to TV

Hi guys :slight_smile:

I know this has been asked lots and lots of times before, and if we had a search facility I wouldn¿t have to bother you :smileyd_oh:

I want to connect my ¿PCG-FR415B¿ to my TV so I can play DVD¿s on my VAIO and watch them on my TV. I know I¿ve got a yellow AV connector on my laptop and I¿ve got a yellow AV connector, an S-Video connector, and a scart connector on my TV. So what¿s the best way to connect it and what cables do I need :slight_smile:

Thank you in anticipation of your kind response :smileybatting_eyelashes: :kissing_heart:

Thanks for that love :kissing_heart: Well from the posts I could understand :smileygrin: only joking :slight_smile: I have just found a cable in my digital camera case, which has allowed me to hook the laptop up to the TV. I can see my desk top on the TV but when I play a DVD using Interideo WinDVD, it appears on my laptop screen but not on my TV :slight_frown:

Am I doing something wrong Kee-Lo :smileyd_oh:

Hehe no problem.
Love it when I find cables in my boxes :slight_smile:

OK to the solution: (From VAIO-Link)

1. Right-click an empty space on your desktop and then click Properties - The Display Properties window appears.
2. Select the Settings tab and then click Advanced.
3. Select the Display tab, and then set TV as Primary Display.
4. Click Apply.
5. Restart WinDVD.

I thought I had done all the above and was getting rather frustrated :angry: But I hadn't set it as the Primary Display :smileyd_oh:

Kee-Lo you're a superstar :smileykiss::smileykiss::smileykiss: It''s working now, thank you :hugging:

hi faith.....

if you pull the dvd window into the second screen and maximize it.... then you can watch the move on the second screen while surfing on the internet in the first screen.... just move the mouse out to the right of the main screen... it will move right into the second screen.
