K315m ( Panel on back reveals what looks like wi-fi card ) ??????

Hello All,

As a new owner of a PCG-K315m I did the usual exploring and I have come accross a strange thing....

Now sony have been very kind and made the memory and hard disk easily accessable however, there is a third bay which have the top took off to reveal another bit of kit..... I don't know what it is though....

It's on the base of the laptop right at the back near and it's looks like a wi-fi card given that it has what appears to be an arial cable attached...

The unit does come with lanexpress wifi drivers but no card is regestered on devices....

Anyone care to shed some light.... ?

Crazy !!,

So like I have the card yep, I have the driver yep !, but...

because it's a feature on this model I cannot use it....

Ah well I have a belkin pccard anyway so no big deal ...

Just looking at the American version of the K-series which does come with wi-fi as standard.

I wonder if there is a way of enabling it ?

I would check the connections, it should work if it's built in.
