I have a problem with my dvd/rw-drive in Sony Vaio PCVRX 515

my dvd/rw-drive is not showed in workplace.
The hardware-assistent told that the maschine is deactivated (code 22).
If i try to activat the dvd/rw-drive, there is to read: "windows could not activat these maschine".

Is my dvd/rw-drive break down, that i must have a new one?

i would go to computer management unistall the drive reboot

the drive will install automaticly and then see is this sorts the problem out,
