how to install correctly xp in my vaio pcv lx1

please i would like to kow how yo install correctly xp in my vaio without having any problems,please tell me if i need drivers,archives etc. Now i am running with ME(original).

how can i get or where i get the VAIO companion cd.
if i do not have this cd can i use a original xp home edition

Call Sony to purchase the CD.

Yes you can use a regular Windows XP upgrade CD, but Sony does not support this option. See the links I provided you.
