how do you add icons to vaio gate?

Can anyone help? I just got a new Sony Vaio and have deleted the internet explorer icon by mistake from the vaio gate. How do I restore it, and how do I add new icons? Would really appreciate any help!

You can drag and drop a shortcut to the Vaio Gate area.

You need to open Explorer (Right-click on the START button -> Explore) and find the .EXE file that opens the program.

For example, if you have lost the Internet Explorer icon, go to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iExplore.EXE

Right-click on this .EXE file and choose 'Create Shortcut'

Drag the new shortcut created into the Vaio Gate area and it should stick there.

Even I can not find vaio gate.xml file in 

C:\Users\Users\AppData\Roaming\Sony Corporation\VAIO Gate

how to solve this problem?
