hi cannot seam to update my graphic card "radeon HD 3400 series" when i install the latest driver the pc says ive allreadly got the latest driver installed. but when i check my device manager or catalyst control centre its tells me the diver date is 12/03/2008 version 8.474.0.0 but the latest driver versions is 8.612 5/15/2009, I have an issue where when i attach a 2nd monitor at least twice daily the screen will flicker for a while then become stable again 3 times or so then the vista operating system will say atikmdag stopped responding and now has recovered but after a couple more seconds both screens crash and there are multi coloured lines on them, or the blue screen whe it says dumping all memory to disk, I have to do a hard reset, and launch OS again, ive had this problem ever since ive bought the pc and it only happenes when ive attached another monitor "hdmi" ive got the monitor drivers installed aswell, monitor works fine on other pc's ive updated drivers for my radeon HD 3400 series in desktop/laptop format ive tried radion hd 3600 ive tried it without catalyst control centre. with out other addons ive tried it after uninstalling the driver completely, also other varitions I have tried modified ati drivers from 3rd pary, I cannot seam to budge the 12/03/2008 driver in most cases it says ive alreadly got the latest driver installed when its not or mabye it is and its just showing me and older driver version. anyway im completly stuck and need some more ideas on what I could do.
