GRT916Z : problem with DVD+R (drive u54a)

I cannot burn any DVD+R on my computer. I had succeed a time ago, with Maxell (DVD+R 1-4X Speed), but the shop cannot provide me anymore.
So, I try with Verbatim and also Memorex (DVD+R 16x) but everytime, failed.

I have verified the level of firmware 1.5a and I have not found higher level.

Have you encounter the same problem ?
Have you an idea in order to held me ?

Thanck for your help.
I have bought sony dvd+r D11 because it is not easy to find D21 in shops.
And I have the same problem : impossible to burn on this dvd.
I have try whith several softwares (Nero, Drag and drop cd DVD) ad KO.

I don't understand at all ...........
(The burn on cd work well. )
