DVD-RAM

i have a GRT-815E, all i want to know is whether my laptop will be able to read this format of dvd

Unless you have a DVD-RAM drive, then no. DVD-RAM is a sort of big minidisk (in a sort of cassette housing), so normal CD/DVD+/-RW drives can't read them either.

not all dvd-ram are a cartridge system and wowser to your picture of jennifer aniston

You might be able to get an external enclosure and put a DVD-RAM drive in that.

This is a thoroughly unhelpful thing to say, but DVD-RAM is a bit like the Betamax of DVD's..........if you can possibly avoid it your probably should.
