Hi,
I have a PCG-Z1XSP and I have recently used adobe Premiere to edit some home video. Upon completion I burned the DVD using the CLickDVD software. It plays great on my Sony notebook, but does not play very well if at all on my home DVD player or any of my friends - does anybody have any ideas?
Have I done something wrong?
Thanks very much.

What exactly happens when you play it on the home DVD player?
Hi, thanks for your response.
From time to time it will freeze, and then carry on playing, it does not do this on the laptop. On some DVD players it will not play at all?

Yep I have had that too with DVDs not playing on certain players, but thats not because of the VAIO, it's because it cannot read burnt disks.
As for the freezing, sounds to me like the disk is dirty or there are minor errors on the disk.
Not sure what solution I can give except try using high grade media.
Thanks for your help.
No problem
