Create your own new ATI MOBILITY driver

Hi there,

I just found a site wich worked great for me!

I went to this site.

This is what you do:
    • Download the latest desktop ATI driver
    • Extract it on your harddisk
    • Use the tool from the site to convert the extracted driver to a mobility driver
    • Install the converted driver on your notebook!

*Remember to check the compatibility list first.
It worked fine for me!

Good luck guys! !wink.gif|___jive_emoticon_name=wink|jivemacro=emoticon|class=jive_macro jive_emote|src=wink.gif!

I've tried it in my VAIO VGN-A617S and it works great!
Now I can have the ATI Catalyst driver in my notebook!

Thanks, Hugovd!

Well done Hugovd!

Thanks to you, (and Driver Heaven), I solved the ATI issue I had with my BX197XP.

Shame on Sony who does´nt make sure we´re getting the correct config´s for the latest updates of their, (our), laptops.

It now runs like clockwork.
