connecting to a stereo

Howdy,
What is the best hard ware/method of connecting your PV to your stereo?

Cheers

Simple, a 3.5mm minijack to RCA stereo cable.

It would have been nice to have optical connections like all MD but for some reason Sony decided not to.

do the sony mds have optical output? i was pretty sure it was just input, certainly on my brother's protable mds.

as for connecting it, 3.5mm jack to rca is prefect if your stereo has the right inputs, do you know what kind yours has? the reason i'm saying this is because a lot of systems i've seen don't have inputs at all - which is very irritating. if you don't have any inputs then you have a choice - tape adapter (trying to get the cable out with the door shut is always fun) or a radio transmitter (but these are illegal in the uk, i don't know where you're from Cala)

Unfortunately there are no accessories for the VP at the mo, and assuming the VP doesn't take the world by storm I doubt we'll be seeing any. You can buy a non-official transmitter that will work with the VP, I've seen a couple of ppl on here who have said they bought one but i wouldnt know where to get one from. I use a cheap cable which splits into the stereo input ports on my hi-fi and it sounds great, but you can spend a fortune on cables should you wish.
