Hi pbodlac and welcome to Club Vaio.
I am afraid there is no easy (cheap) solution as the only video output you have is your VGA monitor socket.
You can either get a converter like THIS ONE which is not cheap or you could try one like THIS ONE
These will allow you to play DVDs on your CRT TV via s-video.
If you want to record TV onto your laptop, you will need a TV TUNER CARD
Thank You Blencogo,
I´ve got TV Card (Pinnacle 310e).Card is working very good
I´m watching mainly DVB-T.I´ll Try get that VGA to TV converter
at Czech rep.I´ts right thing that I need.
Hi,
Do people think this item I found will work on my SONY VAIO FS115E ?
This cable has a VGA connector on one end and both RCA Jack Video (TV) Out and S-Video Out connectors on the other end. It will work with laptops and desktops with VGA cards that has TV-Out function capability through the VGA connector.
NOTE: Please, check your PC & Video Card manual or manufacturer to make sure that your VGA card has TV-Out function capability
