Hello there,
First time post and a cry for help to any that can give it. I recently updated my computer with the Microsoft Security Pack 1. After rebooting, I was informed that my Yamaha AC-XG WDM audio driver had been disconnected, as it was known to have conflicting problems with Windows. I was informed by the troubleshooting guide to go to the Yamaha website to download a new driver to combat this problem. They in turn redirected me to the Vaio uk site. I have yet to find this mythical driver update. Typing in it's full name on any search engine gives me details as to its use on different websites, but not the actual download needed.
I will admit to a very basic understanding of computers, and may be missing something obvious, but if someone, anyone, could just give me a concrete link to this download, I'd be able to stop pulling out my hair.
Appreciate any feedback,
Sam
The driver is available at http://www.vaio-link.com
You will need to enter your serial number and model number to get access to the driver download/update area.
