Do you have other Anti virus software such as Norton or AVG running? There may be a conflict if you are.

Your machine may also have a virus which is making Panda crash. In which case try downloading an alternative program first before running it to see if you do have one.

It may be that the Panda disc (assuming you have one) is somehow corrupt. Get in touch with the supplier.

Also have a look on the Panda website to see if there are any patches available which may fox the problem.

there is no other antivirus or internet securety program running there is no virus on the computer i just restored it and i dont like norton so i have uninstalled it and rebooted everyuthing works properly than but when i install panda from the panda software site (i have an username and password for registering) the laptop crashes it seems like sony vaio made something to let it crash with other software as norton

(my englisch is not verry good i hope you understand i'm dutch)

It's nothing to do with Sony and Norton - although I do wonder myself sometimes

I'm afraid you are not alone with the probelm you've been having. I've had a look around the web and haven't really come across too much evidence in favour of Panda. A few User Reviews will give you an example of how bad this program seems to be. I could find plenty of complaints but nothing to solve the problem other than removing the program altogether.

You say you deleted the panda program in safe mode but didn't say if you had removed the program from the registry. This can be a bit tricky but you can get instructions to fully remove the program by clicking here

I would also contact Panda Support - although I gather they are not very good - to see what they have to say.
