Alps Touch Pad Driver doesn't save mouse speed settings

Hi everyone,

I have an FE11H.
The mouse speed of my touchpad is a little bit too slow and i wanted to adjust it faster. But everytime I change the mouse-settings, these changes are only valid for that session. When I log off and log in again, or when I reboot, the settings are set back to what they were before.
I updated the Alps Pointing-Device Driver to version 5.5.1.2 and I tried to uninstall and reinstall the Alps driver - unsuccessfully.
What else can I try?

Robin

So if nobody knows the solution ... at least it would be interesting for me, if anybody had the same problem with the touchpad-driver. (?)

Hi Robin,

Are you adjusting the properties via Control Panel or the Touchpad icon in the system tray?

try rollback feature in devmgmt.msc ( device manager )
