Hello - this might seem wierd but can ANYONE who owns a FZ19VN laptop please send me model SERIAL number to jkl@newdistrict.co.uk i need the serial to get access to FZ19VN drivers. The problem is I have FZ11L and i want to downgrade to XP ... i have found the graphics driver BUT sony don't want to give me access to the driver base sayin it IS a comletely different model.... The only suggestion technical support could give me was to find a friend that could give me SERIAL to logon to the site :smileygrin: (good advice ha ???)... and get the drivers.
PLEEASE guyz this is really important for me .... i will not use the serial for ANY other purpouses ..... come on what could i do with ur laptops serial ???? Drown ur bank account ???

I managed to get ALL U SEE - ALL drivers working and it was as i said .... ALL drivers from fz19vn WORK on FZ11l thanks for drivers ... not much fiddling around - i had more problems making a dual boot system with vista and XP ... than installing these drivers - SOON a tutorial coming up HOW TO DOWNGRADE FZ series laptops ....
the problem is that winxp don't see sata chip so you have to modify ur xp installation CD so it shows the hard drive ... if you have an external floppy then it is fine.... and you have to get nvidia drivers with modified .ini file so you can install them ... all other drivers working ABSOLUTELY AWESOME .... thanks for the drivers again dude you sooo helped me out .... i am happy as pie ....

yeah that's the one www.laptopvideo2go.com download the nvidia 163.44 something winxp 32 driver and the modified .ini file the thing is that all NVIDIA gaphics cards use the same drivers only the ini file is different....
do u know how to create ur own XP installation cd ??

yeah the graphics are different - so you have to get a seperate nvidia driver (look up).... and that is all ... all other drivers work ... if you can wait i will write a full how to tutorial soon for people who want to downgrade...

i think to lie to us like that and to force us consumers to use one particullar operating system is unfair. Besides vista is undone, unsupported for professional use and seemingly being better it loures people in a trap of limited possibilities ... microsoft know that and they want to sell as many copies of it as they can .... so they pay big manufacturers to simply not support downgrading... and microsoft **** you for that.... anyway .... i am happy this nightmare is over.... ...
