sony bravia kdl32bx350 once switced on displays sony and goes off kindly assist

Am getting annoyed of this TV because i have used it for more than 2yrs now but it has started misbehaving since once you switch on the power button/connected to power source, it only displays "sony" on the screen and goes off.model no.KDL32BX350 S.NO 7838063 kindly assist.NB;its not a smart tv.
