"cannot load data" error on SMPN 200

Hi,

I have just unpacked my SMPN 200 and watched my first film (Game of Thrones E1S1). The film was loaded onto a USB portable Hard Drive. The results were wonderful.

I moved to other films on the HD just to see what other films would look like and all was great.

Suddenly I got an error message saying "cannot load data".

I thought it was one particular film format, so I looked at others - same result.

I then returned to the film I had just watched - and the same fault occurred.

I have tried another hard drive, and a USB memory stick - none of them are working. All give the same error message.

What can have happened, and how do I recover the performance?

Update.

I performed the time honoured "switch it off, and switch it on again" and the videos now work once more.

Any ideas why what happened, happened?

Throughout, all of the other functions worked perfectly.
