My Sony TV keeps showing "HDMI 2" every few seconds

I use my Sony TV (Model KDL - 40WD660) as a second monitor for my PC, and I recently got a new graphic card that required me to change to a display port cable to connect to my TV. Ever since I did this my TV started to show this info bar every few seconds (example shown below).

I read somewhere online that it could have something to do with my sound settings, but after a lot of testing and changing audio setting I don't think it has anything to do with that.

If it helps anything, i have a speaker set connected to my TV, though the aux port on the back.

It's really hard to get my work done with this info bar on screen so if you got any solutions please let me hear them.

I had that issue with my Xbox one x, inside my Xbox settings i changed the video fidelity - colour settings from 8 bit to 10 bit (24 bits per pixel to 30 bits per pixel) and that fixed my issue. I know yours is not an Xbox but hope this can put you on the right path.
