All my streaming apps have disappeared from the menu, i have tried everything tot get them back, factory reset, hard reset, refresh internet content and nothing works. I have found one way to start youtube and netflix using a smartphone and wi fi direct, if i connect to the tv using the phone and then cast the conntent somehow the apps for netflix and youtube sometimes open and work just fine, but this is unacceptable, i bought the TV only for netflix and youtube i do not watch cable television.

Well, as i said before i have tried everything, your first links points to the netflix youtube and other service proividers but this has nothing to do with my problem, maybe you did not understand me the first time, when i open the " all apps" menu i have no apps except for photo frame mode and photo sharing plus, and as i said before i can gain acces to netflix and youtube app with my smarthpone so the service providers have no fault here, the problem seem to be a lack of a shortcut for the apps i now use my phone as a shortcut to open the apps on the tv, this is very inconvenient. And as for the second link you have sent me i have allready said the i have tried absolutly everything

is somebody going to fix this? or customer support is just a joke to sony? also software update is not working. when I search online on my laptop I can see that there is a new sowftare update for my tv model but when I try to update my tv using network mode it says that no newer version found; and if i try to update via USB stick it says something like " tv update is not availabe in current tv mode". So basically nothing works on this tv, apps are gone and software update impossible

I've just found this article on the Sony website: https://bit.ly/2StkuRq, can you try the steps in it? If this doesn't solve the problem I'd suggest trying to connect to a different network like a mobile hotspot. Let us know if it works.

I had this occur my tv is a 43XF7003bBU.  I have recently had a problem with Virgin broadband - wifi suddenly just dropping out randomly and put losing aps  down to this. As yourself  I just had the two photo share etc icons   and no aps. I had to go tv network into settings and re-connect with password etc to my network and all the apps re appeared. I would imagine it must be a network problem of some kind.
