Hi! Sony announced today that my Xperia Pro (SI 1248-6159) can be updated to Android ICS.
I downloaded Sony Pc Companion and tried to update, but the software keeps saying my phone is up to date, there isn't any updates available.
What can I do now?
Thanks.

the issue is that a lot of users are checking all the time for an update, thus creating this issue, the servers are overloaded and there isn't a way around it but to wait a bit longer, if your SI number (on the back of the phone) it's on the list you should get it soon

if after trying bot PCC or SUS you get the same error, dont panic, the servers are busy, this is the official answer that we have so far

Hi!
I tried SUS and I get the same message: you phone is up to date.
My xperia pro is rooted, does this makes any effect? Should I reset the phone before? I also have some launchers installed, but everything from sony is preserved.
did you flashed any other firmware? if you did then just flash to 4.0, if you didn't then don't worry about your phone being rooted you will get the update just wait a bit longer

if you MUST have ICS right now
1) backup your current firmware
2) update using flashtool
3) if you don't like it, downgrade to your original GB
this is how

No, I didn't flashed any other firmware. So, this message is normal? I should wait more to get the update? This is strange, I had a Nokia phone, and when they announced a new update, I could download it at that time, without receiving any message sayng it was up to date.
