I recently had the common Xperia mini problem  . In addition to I was intending to get ICS update later any way  . But after problem occurred I want to get ICS now as I heard that ICS could fix it  . My question is :smileyinfo: " Is it real that ICS would fix the problem ? " and if so :smileyinfo: " what is the best  way to install official ICS update ? "

I recommend to use SUS and selecting "factory reset + update" .

The problem I meant is :smileyinfo: " After my phone was turned off for a long time and as soon as I turned it on it become crazy that it makes sound and vibration like that the two capacitive buttons are continually pushed and any procedure I open it being canceled immediately . And I cant turn off my phone  ,  I can only lock it . even after I remove battery and reinstall it , it is still happening "

And my question is " Will updating my phone to ICS will solve this problem ? "  And " Is updating throw Sony Update Service is the best way ?  And what exactly the settings I choose ? "

I see, if this is a software problem, it maybe solved by updating

yes, PCC/SUS are currently the official way to update.

I suggest when you update you choose the second option that will reset your phone and update.
