Skype doesn't work after upgrade to ICS

Hello, after I've upgraded to ICS yesterday Skype stopped to work. Everything looks like OK: I can start Skype -> Login -> from Skype pov I'm online but nobody else see me as connected to Skype network.

I've tryied connect through 3G and WiFi - the same result. No actual connection. On previous version of android everything with Skype worked well.

Any ideas or the same behaviour?

Mostly happens when the phone was idling for 6 hours with wifi on I just turn wifi on and off and fixed so don't worry about me anyway I'm by the way still running gingerbread

Well i'm going to wait for the official release in Belguim. ^^

Anyway it's a great device the only sad thing was that it did not had ICS

Indeed, check the thread you could backup your current firmware and flash ICS then once it's available in your country flashback

Had this problem, and was fixed by un-installing and re-installing Skype.

I am face same problem. start skype then sign in and it automatically sign out. also demo video running on phone every time even its lock and charging.

any body can help me?????????/

Some list what you could perform:

1. Reboot Xperia S
2. Reinstall Skype
3. Repair your phone with SUS (look on some post above)
4. Hardware reset the device and setup all applications from the scratch (be sware that hrdware reset cleans up all your data)

i own an Xperia S and before ICS update skype was wokring fairly well with an occasional crash or login issue....after ICS update it is completeley gone...and everytime gives the same error

Skype has stopped working.....would you like to sign in again or exit Skype ?

i have a very heavy use of skype and have tried installing it again and again older versioons as well as repairing rebooting but doesn't help. Its useless now

please help... if their is any new version or update coming for skype fix or any other option
