Hi,
I have the AT&T 4G XPlay and in my contry it is not yet deployed but we have 3G and the AT&T image (GB 2.3.3) support and find the needed operator
to connect to 3G network (and data is in H+).
I have unloacked the bootloader so i could update to a more advance version (for example 4.0.2.A.0.58) and it successfully booted and working
but when i wanted to use the data i saw it uses G connection and when i search for network operators i can only choose to connect to 2G networks!
this is also the case for .62 and .42, no 3g recognition in the network services scanning, only the AT&T latest ROM that is (GB 2.3.3) is able to find the 3G network operators and work in H+ data connection.
Can you help me in solving this so i could update my phone to one of the latest 2.3.4 images ?
Regards.

try going to settings>wireless and networks>mobile networks>network mode>select wcdma only
could the baseband version could effect that ?
i saw that in the official release that can find 3G/3.5G of 3.0.1.B.0.285 the baseband 62
how to i apply a baseband on a newer image ? will it work ?
from some reason i used the GSM only and thought that it should find also the 3G natworks and indeed the 3G/3.5G is a WCDMA-UMTS.
Thanks!
No probs, just be reminded that wcdma consumes more battery than gsm (just my observation), I only use wcdma if I browse using my data plan and switch back to gsm if not in use..
