I'm not sure if I can word this correctly but all the contacts (local) on my phone have been removed.
When I select contacts the entire list is blank, support numbers are not even shown anymore.
I used the phone to ring my work phone which I HAD saved into my contacts and when I dialed the number it didn't show the contact as "Work Phone" it simply displayed the number.
One thing it does show however is my 2 Google e-mail address which are linked with the account.
Is there any way to retrieve this data or am I fighting a losing battle?
I appreciate any help you can give me in advance.

On your computer access both Gmail accounts > contacts, if your contacts are there, just sync back
Phonebook > menu > filter > gmail
All working again. Thank you very much for your help. You've made my life a lot easier.
