Update issue.

I have a RDR-DC100 DVD Recorder which recently displays "UPDATE" on the front panel, the only way to clear this is to switch the unit off from the mains. However this message returns after a while. Is there a way to stop this.

yes indeed!, you need to update it, the player is asking you for a firmware update.
