TA-AN1000 and no sound output if regular CD is played on bluray player connected to BD HDMI port

I have encountered problem when listening to regular CDs on my Sony UBP-X700 connected via BD/DVD HDMI port of TA-AN1000. The receiver does not output any audio if the disc has no video, e.g. regular CD (if I change the HDMI input port to SA-CD/CD then audio is output). In contrast, STR-DN1080 outputs audio of same setup when UBP-X700 is connected to HDMI input labeled as BD/DVD. I hope next firmware update would fix this bug.

In STR-DN1080 SA-CD/CD and BD/DVD are both "(for AUDIO)":

 

In TA-AN1000 only SA-CD/CD is (for AUDIO).

I was hoping that I don’t have to connect two HDMI cables to receiver. I had connected that audio output HDMI of UBP-X700 to that SA-CD/CD input as remedy.
