We have just bought an LG 32LE4900 HDTV and tried to hook it up to our Sony DAV-SC5 DVD player and surround sound kit. The DVDs we are watching are playing, but there is a delay between the image and the sound; the sound is slightly in front of the image.
I read somewhere that the HDTV is having to do something to the image, so that is why there is a slight delay. It also said that you should be able to select an option on the DVD player that then delays the sound to match the image. I can't seem to find that option!
We've never had any problems with the DVD player before and I don't want to have to replace it.
Please, does anyone know how to remedy this problem?
Thanks.
