i have a Sony home cinema BDV-E880 and a panasonic TV TX-P46g20b.
i could control the TV with my sky remote, and whilst doing this it would control the home cinema volume too. As I turned o the TV off/on with the sky remote, the home cinema would switch off/on too. I had no control of the play functions of the home cinema with the sky remote, and this was fine.
yesterday, I installed my tv on the wall. When connecting everything back up, I can't get the sky remote to work the volume of the home cinema. It is separate, and can only be controlled with its own remote. This is now annoying as I need two remotes, instead off just one yesterday. I can also no longer switch off the home cinema with the sky remote. I have also noticed that on the TV, when adjusting the volume, instead of saying home cinema volume, it just saying volume.
the connections I have is hdmi from sky hd to hdmi 1 on TV, hdmi from home cinema to TV hdmi2, and optical cable from sky hd to home cinema.
im sure this is something simple, and hope someone can steer me in the right direction.
