Sony BDV-E380, no HDMI output

Hi, there seems to be no HDMI output from the BDV-E380, TV HDMI input says no signal being received! I have to use the video output to check the BDV-E380 settings, under setup/screen settings/output video format/ the only setting available is VIDEO, the HDMI option seems to be greyed out and no way to select it. I have updated the firmware to the latest version, resetted the settings to factory default but no joy! any ideas, thanks

Just had exactly the same thing happen to my home cinema HBD-N790W. I have plugged a din cable in so that I have picture and reset to factory settings. HDMI still not working. It is only 10 days old and was working fine until today.

I have also tried other HDMI cables, no luck. Just before it went off, the picture went really pink, then nothing.

Hi thanks, mine is only 13 months old! Still no HDMI output but during my last attempt at fixing it I did manage to restore the menu option to select HDMI and was able to set screen resolution, thought I had it but sadly still no HDMI utput. On checking the menu options it was "yes" greyed out again!

Any ideas anyone?

Still having the same problem, HDMI option greyed out and no HDMI output, sad but looks like I will have to scrap it and buy another only after 13 months. Not Good!
