I have a BDP-S185 connected to my network so that I can access Internet videos, I have a HDD connected to the USB port on the front so I can ply my home movies, etc.
Recently the HDD has been full so I've had to delete files to fit more movies on to watch, to remedy this I bought a Buffalo 6TB NAS to store the files (should never fill up, fingers crossed!) I still have the HDD, the setup I have is the HDD connects to a manual USB switch which then connects to my Linsys-E4200 out one side and my Sony BDP-S185 the other, I have to push a button to switch between the two.
What I want is to not have to push the button, but have direct access to the NAS from the S185 via the LAN, they are both on the same subnet so should be able to communicate.
Is there any way the S185 BR can access internal cloud based storage such as my Buffalo NAS?
