I have a Sony KDL-60EX700 television married to a BDV-F700 Home Cinema system.
Problem one - recurring problem.
Intemittently, around twice per day, i lose sound completely.
I then switch back to TV speakers only and the sound works perfectly, without however any sound from audio system speakers.
After a few minutes of changing channels and switching between TV speakers and audio system, the audio sytem starts to work normally again...............
I am thinking to relace the HDMI and digital optical lead which go from the audio system to the TV and if this does not solve the problem then thinking to buy the wireless dongle and carry out a firmware upgrade to the Audio system (BDV-F700), a bit reluctant to carry out the firmware upgrade as i am not that tech savvy................
Problem two - new problem.
Occured only last night - blue digits - 7 figure number in blue writing appearing on right hand side of TV screen.............switched tv off at wall and switched it back on and this seemed to solve the problem.
Your advice is welcome.
