I have Sony home theatre HTFS3, Sony Bravia TV, Sony BDP370 & Humax Freesat box. When I connect them via high speed 1.4a HDMI cables everything works fine for a couple of days & then sound & picture will stop/start intermittently 3 or 4 times before stopping altogether. When I connect HDMI's to TV and use only optical audio cable from TV to amp in the home theatre, it works fine. The cooling fan in the amp. works fine. I have tried changing HDMI cables. The problem arises with both BD player & Freesat box & if one is connected or both. If I continue using the optical cable am I loosing any audio quality?
Problem resolved under warranty. Lose connection.
