Can I use both the Bravia TV speakers and the home cinema speakers at the same time?

Hi

I've just connected a Panasonic ( sorry Sony ) home theater system to my Sony Bravia KDL-32EX403 TV.

Connection is by a single HDMI cable.

Using the TV menu, I've chosen "Audio System" for the sound output rather than "Speakers". This works OK through the home theater system but kills the sound output through the TV's own speakers.

Can it be set up so that audio comes through the TV speakers AND the home theater speakers at the same time?

Thanks

Hi,

you probably could if you had a optical or coaxial digital input on the home theater set however you will not like it as usually there is a slight delay in the sound that will give it that echo effect,

you cannot do it in the Bravia's menu as you can only set tv speaker or Audio system speakers.
