Not sure if I explained it very well last night so reposted to see if it gets any responses.
Last weekend I purchased a new Sony TV and Soundbar.
The model numbers are
Sony 60w850b
Sony ht CT770
I have my Sky+ HD box connected to the TV via HDMI and an optical out into the Soundbar. I have no other devices connected or cables plugged in. I put the Soundbar on TV mode to get the audio through.
It all works perfectly until I pause my sky box for a length of time of approx 5 mins. With the Soundbar receiving no sound it auto switches to Bluetooth mode meaning when I unpause the TV I get no sound and have to manually turn the Soundbar back to TV mode.
If I only pause the sky for a few mins it doesn't seem to happen.
Also slightly off the above subject, all the buttons on the Soundbar remote work fine except the power on and off button which doesn't do anything. Not that I really need to turn it off but, I've found the only way to is via the SongPal app if I connect my iPhone to the Soundbar via Bluetooth.
I don't leave Bluetooth turned on on my phone so that isn't causing the main issue I have.
