I've been trying to get my BDV E370 to read a 150GB external hard drive. The only set up I've found to work is to format (as the manual states) to FAT32 to a maximum size of 32GB, which is the largest that can be achieved using WinXP. I've tried larger sizes on Mac and Ubuntu but it says "Unsupported Device".
Partitioning 4x32GB results in the BDV E370 only reading the first partition so this really isn't a satisfactory answer. Does anyone have any advice on how to get the most out of the hard drives i.e. getting the full drive space thats available?
Cheers
Tristian
Hi I am sorry this is a limitation of FAT, even if you could see the whole 150GB the unit would be resticted to seeing only the first 999 files in the first tree. These products do have limited capabilies in this respect, please see page 66 of the instruction manual for further information.
