BDV -e370 : 3d movies

Hi,

I am using BDV e370 for 3 months and used to watch normal DVD movies (2D) on my Samsung LED 3D TV without any issues.

When i just tried Bluray-3d disc on BDV palyer, I am getting the error message that the Player is not set for watching 3D content. ( my TV is Samsung LED 3D 7000 series).

And I have successfully used my TV to watch online 3D programs without any problem.

Hence I feel there is some compatible issues / config/ setup issues on Sony.

Please suggest.

PS: I have already tried with Video settings in Sony. ( Auto 3D detect) etc.

Hi,

its highly likely to be one of two things (or both), its possible the player needs a firmware update, is the player set to recieve updates from the internet?, the other thing is the HDMI lead, is this the latest v1.4 ?, since you can watch 3D content on the TV it can only be one of the 2 things above.

But just i have checked that my firmware upgrade is the latest one : M04.R.752 and the HDMI cable version is also 1.4
