are there going to be any updates for dvpsr750h so it reads more formats

hi i have had a dvpsr750h for a while, i love it, in fact i love it that much i have 3 of them.but i am sick of converting files so it will play them on its usb is there ever going to be any updates so it can play more formats eg mp4 or any of the more popular formats and if there is how do i update the device ?

Maybe sony may consider this for their next model other wise i am going to go to using my pc as my player.

Formats like .mkv take a lot of grunt power to decode which requires a faster processor, so consequently on a DVD player where the margins are presumably non existant and the demand for this is likely minimal it won't happen. All of their Blu-ray players for 3 years have supported .mkv though, so maybe look at one of these instead.
