How to recover data from sd card?

Hi, I had lot of problems with my E5 turning off when I was taken pictures. I sent it to repair, they didn't repair anything, just uploaded. đŸ˜„ I just did it several times before but it didn't work.

So now I have to restore my datas. I got some with the Xperia Companion but not all. I want to recover datas that are on my SD card How can I get them?

Thank you for your help

Hi @FloPdS,

If you are trying to restore a backup from your SD card back to your Xperia E5 you can do so if you go to: Settings > Backup & reset > Restore data > SD card > Restore data.

If you wan to recover media files like pictures or video files all you have to to is plug your SD card in to your phone and they will show up in the Album app.

Let me know if this answers your questions.

I don't think your answer is helpful in solving this problem. In general, the most effective way to recover SD card data is to use a data recovery tool. I saw in Google that the most popular tools are EaseUS and AnyRecover. I have used EaseUS, a free and effective tool that is recommended.
