Water damage.

Whilst jumpin a atream, my DSC-RX100M3 slipped my wrist....... There's water behind the lens. Apart from kicking myself, what Should I do?

Drying it alone wouldn't help, since the water will leave residue and make the camera unusable anyways.

Still you should dry it as good as possible to keep the cost for repair as low as possible.

Additional to the lens being unusable some contacts inside the camera will start to corrode.

After drying it, you should send it in for repair and hope it is not too expensive to fix it.

Thank you, Nic,

I'm drying it at the moment....the puddle behind the lens is now a fog. I'm guessing there's no point in opening the back by taking out the screws to accelerate drying? (Having said that, my luck is such that I'd probably break the back removing the screws!)
