I posted this on the USA forum 4 months ago with no luck.
Any chance (unless I've missed it) of making some software to control the camera tethered via the USB port. There does appear to be MAC software available on the Sony site but the camera is not recognised.
Or just enhance the iPhone app with the extra features like being able to set ISO, Aperture, Shutter speeds etc. so it can be controlled wirelessly please.

This camera is awesome and is replacing my Canon 5d MKii which was stolen.
So far have been happy using my wifes RX100 so I got the RX100 II for the hot shoe and the wifi functionality.
If only you could add timelapse to the self timer feature and/or the remote phone apps. this would be perfect.
