Livestream (Camera as Web Cam) for hours. Possible?

Hi, guys

Is it possible to use CyberShot cameras as web cams when livestreaming for at least an hour? I.e. can the cameras be used as a web cam and can they charge while filming?

Nice idea but I do not think this is possible with Sony cameras.

If a camera can output the video feed via HDMI, it should be possible to use that feed with software like Open Broadcaster Software, SparkoCam and/or digiCamControl. Do you know about these?

For sony "camera" product , you need let it not idle about 30 min.

eg:  sony a series , rx100 and etc...

sony camera hdmi output do not have live audio.

you need use PC / iOS /android mic as audio source

For sony "camcorder" product,  you can setup it to be no iddle.

eg:  sony x3000r,  pj675....
