Unable to claim cashback
I purchased a new tv over a month ago from very, the model was a XR-55A75K. So i got the tv and was told id be able to claim £200 cash back after having the tv for a month. Fill out the forms get to last page and every time a html error so unable to complete this form. Any ideas? Sony never seem to answer their phone lines and when trying to email they say its down for maintenance. So Frustrating!

Hi @Ambulite and welcome to the UK Community
You're not alone.
Unfortunately the whole site has a few problems at the moment including product registration
and login issues too.It is is being investigated but unfortunately we don't have a timescale of
when it will be fixed.
Did you try phoning Support today? If so they don't work weekends.
If you've tried on a weekday can you let me know how often and what happened?
If you could post a screenshot of the mail you received about maintenance
(with your email address / personal details removed) that would also help when I report
your issues.
Thanks

Also same issue! I have tried different browsers, cleaning up the cache and history etc... even tried on my phone and no luck. Annoyingly is even when this does get resolved there is another 28 days for them to agree or not the claim!

Hi guys, there was an issue with the website and Sony resolved it. Try again.

Are you sure?
I have tried again and still the same error message.
Always same problem, fill out the form and submit and then the dreaded message, forbidden!
Well, I for one, will not buy another item from Sony. For a tech firm, they aren’t very technical 🤣

My option was to contact Resolver.co.uk, now I am chatting to a so called specialist in customer services, they have asked now for all the relevant information asked for by Sony and are now passing the said information onto the correct department.
hope that this may help others trying to claim the cash back, but Sony’s website will not allow you to submit the info etc.
‘Good luck 👍
