Hello Comunnity, on the Sony Bravia KD-50X81J, when recording with a timer, on a USB HDD/STICK, recording with EPG, the TV opens by itself when the recording starts. If I set a timer for recording at 03.00 in the morning, when the recording starts, then the TV opens with picture and sound. Is it normal, or is there a setting so that the TV does not open once the recording starts??? Please if you can help. Thank you in advance !

Hey buddy! Yes for timer recordings the TV must come on as there's no way to record while the TV on standby, you can lower the volume before going to bed and it will still record, but yea it will still turn on for it to record.
