Picture Judder.

I have a new a95k and, while the picture is good, I am having terrible problems with picture judder.

Has anyone out there got one of these, had the same problem and got some adjusted settings they could share with me?? I do understand a lot of this comes down to personal preference, and some people are more susceptible than others (apparently), but this is really ruining the tv for me.

The problem seems to affect all content (tv apps / Sky Q and apps) and is most noticeable with wide, panning shots of scenery or similar - it almost looks as though the camera is jerking along. All cables are i-speed and all HDMI inputs set to enhanced but haven't yet started messing about with the picture settings yet. I am sure the solution is in the Motionflow options somewhere but really would appreciate some pointing in the right direction....!!

Hi @MegaRid

I’ve had an A95K for over 6 months set to default Standard. Fantastic picture with not a hint of any judder with Sky Q UHD HDR or any other resolution, or any App or live TV.

I never mess around with picture settings, as your eyes always get used to whatever and it becomes standard.

Hey @LightFoot,

Glad to hear yours is working so well. I only wish mine was.

I'm not sure I would want my eyes to get used to this. On occasion, it feels like the picture is jerking its way across the screen (particularly on sweeping shots).

Has anyone else out there had to adjust their settings because of judder?? Does anyone have any adjusted settings they would care to post....??

Have you checked the motion settings? Try it with and without it, and also change the HDMI signal format and test it on each one. Hope that helps.

Hi @SkyNet404,

Thanks for the reply. I do need to get going through the settings - I really just wondered if anyone had changed theirs and might want to throw a few suggestions my way. I hadn't thought to try the HDMI settings, though, so will try this too....
