Media player on AG9 TV

Hi.  I'd be grateful for any assistance on using the AG9 TV media player.  Until recently my home videos played perfectly from a NAS drive but now the TV's native media player interface seems to have changed and trying to play videos get the message that they can't be played.

Any ideas or alternatives?  Do I need to download an alternative video player maybe?

Have you tried VLC? It is my player of choice (even on my phone and PC).
