I bought this tv for my mum for Christmas and it has continual problems with losing picture when connected to her somewhat old Sky HD Box. When you switch the TV on, the video plays for about 20 seconds and then fails with an error message of “The video is unexpectedly unavailable”. The only way of fixing it is to take out the HDMI from the tv and reinsert it. Tried a new HDMI lead and every HDMI port but problem is continuing. No issue with other sources. I wonder if in some way the two devices are incompatible. Firmware is up to date on both devices.
Hi @petetobin, i think that the issue might be with the box itself since other sources are working fine
Have you tried getting in touch directly with sky support to check?
