Bravia KD55x8509c wont turn on

Hi 

can anyone help. Had this tv since June2016. Went to turn the tv on as normal but it asked for set up details inc wifi etc. Then asked for update. Dont think update was successful.  After completion  the tv came on as normal. The following day it repeated the set up. I skipped this assuming details inc already. The tv switched off at this point and has not come back on since. White light flashes for 8 secs then off for 8-10 secs then white light on again. Attempted various resets inc factory reset vol- power button etc but no response. Does anyone have a solution please.

Thanks for the reply. I eventually got thro to sony support. They reckon its a motherboard issue. I’m hopeful that its covered on a five year that i didnt realise i had.
